Histórias em Viagem/ Traveling Histories 2017

Alternando entre depoimentos e um estilo observacional, o filme cria pontes entre as várias fases do processo criativo (formações e residência artística) e o seu resultado final: um espetáculo itinerante de artes de rua, tecnicamente arrojado, que combinava teatro físico, música, dança e cinema - e que se apresentou nas ruas de sete dos quinze municípios associados da Artemrede entre abril e julho de 2017.
“Achámos que o espetáculo Histórias em Viagem merecia, pelas suas especificidades, um registo especial” – explica Marta Martins, Diretora Executiva da Artemrede. “Todo o processo foi filmado e editado por João Bento, que estava já ligado à criação do espetáculo enquanto sonoplasta. Ao assumir a realização do filme, ele teve acesso direto e privilegiado a todos os protagonistas envolvidos na sua produção e criação artística. Mais do que um retrato de bastidores, quisemos que filme fosse um registo simultaneamente íntimo e institucional de um projeto que foi para nós tão exigente quanto memorável.”
ODISSEIA é um projeto da Artemrede, financiado pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian no âmbito da 2ª edição do programa PARTIS, realizado em parceria com a cooperativa social RUMO.
Directed by João Bento, this film is an immersive portrait of the homonymous performance, created by Radar 360º (Julieta Rodrigues and António Oliveira) and produced by Artemrede in the framework of the ODISSEIA project. “The whole process was shot and edited by João Bento, who was already linked to the project as a sound designer. By taking over the direction of the film, he had direct and privileged access to all the participants. “More than a behind-the-scenes film, we wanted it to be simultaneously an intimate and an institutional portrait of this project, which was so particularly demanding and memorable for everyone involved”. Swinging between interviews and an observational style, the film emphasizes the various phases of the creative process (training sessions and artistic residency) and its final outcome: an itinerant street arts performance combining physical theatre, dance, music and film – showcased in the streets of seven of Artemrede’s associated municipalities, between April and July 2017.
ODISSEIA is a project by Artemrede, cofinanced by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian in the framework of the second edition of the PARTIS programme and implemented in cooperation with social cooperative RUMO.

BauBau, retrata os afazeres de um barbeiro da Cidade Alentejana de Montemor - o - Novo. Para além do tradicional corte de cabelo, Baubau dedica-se á poesia, á moda e gosta de cantar. Os seu ídolos são os não menos memoráveis Amália Rodrigues e António Variações.

BauBau, portrays the tasks of a barber from the Alentejo City of Montemor - o - Novo. In addition to the traditional haircut, Baubau dedicates himself to poetry, fashion and likes to sing. His idols are the no less memorable Amália Rodrigues and António Variações.
